AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate

If you have embarked on a Cloud Journey, it wouldn't be complete without the mighty AWS. The oldest kid in the block offering hundreds of services and leading the cloud industry. Honestly ITS INTIMIDATING. Why do I say that? 

1. AWS has a ton of services compared to any other cloud provider. This means one thing, more data to understand and memorize. 

2. Isn't point 1 enough? not pleased with my answer? Check this out:

The best thing about AWS is the comprehensive documentation along with a ton of examples. That is it. That is the key to cracking the exam. And of course there is one more unpopular step one needs to clear the exam - PRACTICE. 

While the crowd prefers to use brain dumps to crack the exam, I can't stop but wonder.... WHY?  What on earth are you trying to prove? If we can not understand how the services glue together or where a service fits well or the best practices (https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/apn/the-5-pillars-of-the-aws-well-architected-framework/), there is no point in holding that certificate and waving at your manager. 

Amazon offers a 300 credit based trial subscription along with a always free tier subscription (more on that here: https://aws.amazon.com/free/?all-free-tier.sort-by=item.additionalFields.SortRank&all-free-tier.sort-order=asc). most of the concepts needed to crack the exam will fall within the free range with a few exception. Again you have tons of learning resources out there. All it takes is a proper Google Search 😆 Thats it.... Google in AWS post you get the pun! 

Also note that the exam syllabus has changed since July 1-2020. So if you have been reading the BRAIN DUMPS, you should probably reconsider your preparation strategy. And probably take my advice and start reading the docs and practicing more.
